Anaesthetist (Rivercity Anaesthesia)

Renowned Brisbane upper-limb anaesthetist Dr Wayne Edwards graduated from the University of Queensland then completed his anaesthetics training at various hospitals throughout South East Queensland. He also has an interest in major vascular and spinal anaesthesia and holds VMO appointments at most private hospitals in Brisbane and the Gold Coast. An avid sportsman, he has represented Australia in American Football and is also an elite downhill skier. He has served his country as a RAAF Medic and continues his humanitarian work as a volunteer Anaesthetist with a medical team that provides vascular surgical services in remote parts of Samoa on an annual basis. In his spare time he enjoys fishing and gardening.
